Meet Our Staff | Houston TX
Estella Morin, RDH
As you contemplate taking that first step in becoming a new patient, I want to help put your mind at ease. I may be the first person you will see for care and I do this with over 20 years of experience. Over the years I have learned that each individual is unique. Listening to your concerns will guide me to provide you with the utmost quality of care.
I will be at your side to ease that care into the hands of our experienced and qualified doctors. To those of you who have allowed me to care for you and have faithfully kept your appointments, I thank you. You are the blessings in our practice and the means to help me gain the knowledge, experience and patients to provide care for you and others. As a patient, you know that Dr. Saab provides the most current avenues of treatment, and allows me to do the same.
Diane Vorda, Practice Manager
I love working at one of Houston’s top dental practices! Throughout my dental career, I’ve been mentored by some of Houston’s finest dentists. With more than 30 years of experience in the dental field, 15 of those in prosthodontics, I have come to regard our patients as guests. I feel every patient should be greeted with a smile, offered a beverage and treated as if they were going into a five star hotel. A welcoming place where you can’t wait to be pampered, everyone is friendly, and you are comfortable, you can just relax! My goal is for the patient who fears dentistry to know that everything will be okay. We know how you feel, so our team strives to help you erase those fears and achieve the oral care you desire.
Having worked as a practice manager, treatment coordinator, and financial and insurance manager, I understand a patient’s treatment from many perspectives. As practice manager, some of the things I do are: the daily dental office operations (including staff management), internal and external marketing of the practice, patient finances, and human resource department. Yet what I love doing the most is going over a patient’s treatment and payment plans. This allows me to work one-on-one with patients to discuss their recommended treatment and their financial needs. I put forth all of my effort to help each patient afford their recommended treatment.
I love my job and hope to give only my best to every patient. For me it is all about relationships. My passion for dentistry is driven by my love of people and the opportunity to give personalized attention. Building relationships and getting to know our patients personally is what I enjoy most. So for the patients who just drop by our office to say hello, my office is always open for a warm cup of coffee and to chat.
Mari Rodriguez, Business Assistant
Houston has been my home for 12 years. I was born in Mexico City, the big city which prepared me for Houston. I am fluent in Spanish, which makes patients who speak Spanish feel comfortable.
I had the opportunity to begin my dental career 10 years ago when I started as a chairside assistant. Over the years, I have continued to expand my skills in administrative areas as well. I love what I do because I have the opportunity to make a difference in a patient’s health and smile.
In my position as a business assistant, I help patients with their treatment needs. I check insurance benefits, write and calculate treatment plans, schedule appointments, and provide the information necessary make a patient’s experience a pleasant one.
You will probably remember me because I will be one of the first and the last people you will see in the office. I enjoy going to movies and doing extreme sports with my husband. I also love jogging with my husband and my dog and finding adventurous things to do outdoors.
Monica Ramos, RDA
I am a bilingual certified dental assistant with 14 years of experience. English is my first language, but I’m fluent in Spanish as well. I joined Dr. Saab’s practice for the opportunity to further my education and knowledge beyond traditional dentistry.
I’ve been working with dental implants for several years and found I have a passion for this field. I’m the first person you will see during your restoration procedures. My goal is to make you feel at ease and comfortable in the dental chair. The difference we make in our patients lives, combined with the advanced technology we use, makes the perfect combination of reward and challenge. I love and enjoy working with the best Prosthodontist providing a beautiful smile for our patients. Knowing how it changes their lives make me smile too
Doro Monge, Lab Technician
My love for dentistry started at the age of 16. While in high school, I also attended a dental technical school for basic training. l started as an employee in one of Houston’s most prestigious dental laboratories. As a lab technician, I worked for 18 years obtaining extensive experience in all areas of the field. I then became a certified technician by The National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology.
I decided it was time to grow my career and share my experience directly with doctors, and so I started my own successful private laboratory. I embraced the opportunity to become part of Dr. Xavier Saab’s dental team as the on-site technician.
It is a joy to work with Dr. Saab, a specialist in Prosthodontics, on his complex reconstructive treatment and to see the satisfied smiles of his patients. Together we re- build more than just teeth and complete jaw and smile replacements. There is no greater reward than designing restorations which can give a patient more confidence and a renewed life. The patient’s satisfaction is my goal because I believe that by doing what one loves to do, one is sharing his best with others.
My 40-plus years of experience in the creation of dental restorations and teeth replacements gives me the assurance that you will receive the finest quality of dentistry available in a friendly and professional way where we truly care for your well-being.
